Anyone who loves artisanal chocolate knows that pure, handmade chocolate is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow – hard to find but worth the wait. It’s chocolate as it was meant to be, minus the tainting of excessive flavouring and sugar, which any chocolatier will tell you only detract from the true cacao flavour.

If you haven’t popped into Honest Chocolate before, you’re certainly in for a treat, drenched in organic goodness and adorned with surprises. It’s your one-stop shop for all things cacao, from chocolate pieces and bars to milkshakes and baked delicacies.
For those looking for a ‘Willy Wonka’ experience, Honest Chocolate is offering golden tickets to its chocolate making workshop – the bonbon edition.
The workshop takes place at Honest Chocolate’s Chocolate Factory in Woodstock and promises to be a full chocolate trip, taking you from the bean to the chocolate bar.
After a full tasting, a demonstration of chocolate making, and an introduction to how cacao beans are farmed and processed, guests will get dipping, decorating and wrapping to create their own bonbons to enjoy at home.
You may not encounter many Oompa-Loompas at this chocolate factory (although Woodstock has its own magic), however, the experience of the ethically made chocolate promises to be its own kind of enchantment.
