This show is aimed at anyone with an interest in food, health, wellness, and the environment who is looking to live more consciously. A bountiful fair where visitors will be spoilt for choice. The marketplace will showcase a variety of exhibitors offering sustainable products across an array of categories including food, drink, appliances, apparel, and so much more – there is something for everyone.
· Woolworths Good Life Kitchen with PlantLove
The Woolworths Good Life Kitchen with PlantLove is the star feature of our show and this is where you will find top international and local chefs showcasing their skills and demonstrating the best, easiest ways to create exciting, versatile, healthy, and delicious sustainable recipes. · Woolworths Masterclass with PlantLove
Would you like to do a hands-on cooking session at the show? Culinary enthusiasts can enhance their skills by taking part in a high-quality cooking experience run by a culinary expert. Each session is packed with loads of fun, tips and tricks. Tickets for all Masterclasses cost R150 each which includes place in the selected Masterclass plus all the ingredients. · Plant-Based Chef of the Year Competition
Catch an exciting live cooking competition at the show. The ‘Plant-Based Chef of the Year’ competition, in collaboration with the SA Chefs Association, will be held live at The Good Life Show on both the Saturday and Sunday. Contestants will be asked to create plant-based dishes in both ‘pastry’ and ‘hot dish’ categories and winners will be crowned in both the Junior and Senior divisions. The competition will take place every day of the show, from 9am – 6pm, and the national finals will be held on the final day of the Good Life Show. The winners will receive the ‘National Crown of Chef of the Year Plant-Based for the Hot Competition’ in both Junior and Senior divisions and then the regional winners from each heat will compete against the winner of the Western Cape Semi-Finals at a later date.
· Made to Move Fitness Area
The ‘Made to Move’ feature at the event will give visitors an exciting opportunity to engage in strength, balance, and mindfulness activities. Directors of the ‘Made to Move’ programme are Ceri and Lydia Hannan, the husband-and-wife team behind Rockstar Fitness and with over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, they are curating this feature area to ensure that visitors, while kickstarting their journey to overall well-being, gain maximum benefits and most importantly, have a blast.
