The Plettenberg has announced its highly anticipated Christmas and New Year’s Eve events, which are now open for reservations. Known for its spectacular coastal setting and culinary excellence, The Plettenberg hotel stands out as the ultimate destination for festive celebrations, welcoming both resident guests, as well as other holidaymakers in Plettenberg Bay.
Guests are invited to choose between Christmas Eve dinner or Christmas lunch, both featuring live music, a welcome drink, and a delectable Amuse-Bouche to kick off the festivities. Served in the Restaurant at The Plettenberg, a three-course feast will be enjoyed against a backdrop of breathtaking sea views. Choices include the seafood dishes that Chef Kyle Macaskill is famous for, such as Seared Prawn Linguine and Pan-Roasted Local Line Fish. Those who cherish the traditions of this joyous season will be sure to enjoy the option of a classic Christmas pudding, before ending the feast with Christmas Petit Fours and coffee.
The Plettenberg is the place to be on New Year’s Eve, where revelers will be spoiled with a lavish multi-course dinner and live entertainment. Dinner comes with all the bells and whistles, including an Amuse-Bouche, pre-Starter and Starter courses, Sorbet, Main Course and two Dessert courses, followed by Petit Fours and Coffee. To round off the celebrations, the countdown will continue to midnight to welcome the new year with a glass of celebratory bubbly.
