• Sandton Sun is excited to unveil its new updated menus across. This revamp includes a breakfast menu, a banqueting menu, and a sophisticated San Deck menu.

    The new menus showcase a range of dishes. Each menu has been carefully designed to meet the high standards that Sandton Sun is known for, offering guests a blend of classic flavours and contemporary creations.

    “We are delighted to present our guests with these exciting new menus,” said Rober Jasper, General Manager of Sandton Sun. “Our goal is to elevate every aspect of the dining experience, from breakfast to banqueting and fine dining. Whether our guests are here for leisure, business, or a special occasion, our refreshed menus will add a flavourful element to their stay.”

    Start your day with the refreshed breakfast menu, which now features a blend of traditional favourites and modern twists. New dishes include Jozi Benedict (two poached eggs, tomato, spicy beef mince, vetkoek smothered in hollandaise sauce) and a delicious savoury French waffle dish that will be hard to forget!

    The updated banqueting menu promises a sophisticated dining experience for events and conferences. New standout starters include grilled chicken chowder soup, infused with lemongrass, celery, and leeks, and garnished with basil croutons.

    Main courses feature delights such as vegetarian-friendly potato and butternut gnocchi, served with sage noisette and balsamic root vegetables. Seafood lovers can enjoy grilled sole with mussels beurre blanc, accompanied by a warm potato, cauliflower, and caper salad.

    The San Deck Restaurant also has some new menu items, designed for a fine dining experience with a range of exquisite dishes. Highlights include rich wine braised oxtail with creamy mashed potato, and a 300g Chalmar beef rib-eye, which is sure to satisfy meat enthusiasts.

    End your meal on a sweet note with new dessert selections. Sticky toffee pudding, served with vanilla poached pear and dulce de leche ice cream promises a rich and indulgent conclusion to your dining experience.
