• Have you noticed an increasing choice of no- or low alcohol products when you’re browsing drinks options? Lifestyle trends today, increasingly see us opting for less or even no alcohol consumption. Choosing a dry lifestyle doesn’t need a reason, but it is often because we have to take the wheel, have an early morning or important day coming up, when we are not feeling well, trying to lose weight or perhaps because of a more serious medical or, of course, personal reason. With a host of non-alcoholic drinks available today, non-drinkers don’t have to settle for a cooldrink in a tumbler. They too, can enjoy a sophisticated, good-looking drink. One such option, is the popular Natura Classic White or Classic Red by Leopard’s Leap.

The Leopard’s Leap Natura range – a duo of de-alcoholised red and white – offers a wonderful alternative when you’re not in the position to use alcohol. This exciting couple gives wine lovers or those trying to find a sophisticated sipper, a de-alcoholised and friendly option during those occasions or in those moments where alcohol can or should not be consumed.

Versatile, health-conscious and delicious, Natura is ideal for a responsible, everyday quality lifestyle. Being de-alcoholised, the Natura is made from a traditional alcoholic wine from which the alcohol has been extracted to leave no more than 0.5% abv.

The Natura Classic White is a 100% Chenin Blanc. Crisp and refreshing with tropical fruit flavours on the nose, the palate is juicy and beautifully integrated. Delightful on its own as an aperitif, it is also a lovely partner to delicate soups and all kinds of salads and seafood.

A blend of mostly Pinotage and Shiraz, the Natura Classic Red intrigues with ripe red berries and sweet spice on the nose while the palate follows through with a smooth mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste. Delightful on its own and an outstanding and versatile partner on the dinner table.

Sourced from areas well known for cultivating these grapes to produce fruit forward wines, the grapes for Natura wines are harvested at optimum ripeness to ensure the finest varietal characteristics. Winemaking is gentle with the minimum intervention and only when the winemaker is content with the quality of the wine, the alcohol is removed via a spinning cone. Done under vacuum and at low temperatures, this process ensures the product retains its unique appeal. Continuing towards bottling and labelling, the de-alcoholised wine is treated as an ordinary wine and managed with the utmost care and attention.

More good news is a glass of Leopard’s Leap Natura De-alc, for instance, has roughly about a third of the calories that you’d find in a regular glass of wine.

Wine has a rich tradition, lifestyle and cultural associations and even when you choose not to consume alcohol, it’s hard to resist its charm and story. With Leopard’s Leap Natura De-alc Classic White and Red, you don’t have to.
