Pick n Pay has announced the return of two much-loved fish spreads, Redro Fish Spread and Peck’s Anchovette. This announcement comes as a sigh of relief to consumers who’ve been missing these spreads on their breakfast tables and in their pantries.
According to Pick n Pay’s social media post, the restocking of these spreads was driven by ‘popular demand.’
Available for purchase in 125-gramme jars at a price point of R39.99, the spreads are currently exclusive to Pick n Pay outlets.
Both Redro Fish Spread and Peck’s Anchovette are versatile condiments. While they are most commonly spread over toast, their uses extend into a variety of culinary domains. They can be used for sauces, dips and even pasta.
This year also marked the return of Hellman’s Mayonnaise to shelves. In answer to the vocal requests of devoted shoppers, the well-known retail store reintroduced the legendary condiment, quenching the appetite of mayonnaise aficionados nationwide.
The next time you find yourself browsing the aisles of a Pick n Pay store, seize the opportunity to snag a jar – or perhaps even two – before these coveted spreads vanish from the shelves once more.
