Marshmallow treats
Easy to make bite-sized treats that are perfect for a tea party, kid’s party, or even as a Sunday snack at home. Try these delicious Marshmallow treats!
TOTAL TIME 30 min + refrigeration | MAKES 55
INGREDIENTS
- 200 g butter
- 38 g canned sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup, firmly packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 3 ¾ cup plain sweet biscuit crumbs
- 300 g pink and white marshmallows
- 1 ½ cups desiccated coconut
METHOD
STIR butter, condensed milk, sugar, sifted cocoa and vanilla together in a pot over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in biscuit crumbs. Cool to room temperature.
WITH damp hands, roll three heaped teaspoons of biscuit crumb mixture around each marshmallow, pressing firmly to enclose marshmallows. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
ROLL balls in coconut, then place on trays to firm up.
