• These microwave chocolate pots are the perfect quick-fix dessert when you’re craving something sweet!

    In just a few minutes, rich, velvety chocolate is transformed into individual servings of molten goodness. The recipe combines simple ingredients like flour, caster sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, milk, and the decadent goodness of Nutella which are mixed and then microwaved until set, creating a warm, gooey center with a slightly crisp top.

    Microwave Chocolate Pots

    Serves: 2
    Prep Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 1 minute

    Ingredients

    • 4 tbsp plain flour
    • 4 tbsp caster sugar
    • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, plus ½ tsp to dust
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tbsp (30ml) vegetable oil
    • 3 tbsp (30ml) milk
    • 4 tsp Nutella
    • To Serve
    • Berries & icing sugar

    Instructions

    MIX the flour, sugar, cocoa and salt together in a medium bowl. Then add the egg, oil and milk and mix until well combined.

    PLACE a large spoonful in each ramekin then place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each. Spoon over the remainder of the cake mixture and microwave for 45 secs – 1 minute. It's ready when it stops rising. Dust with the remaining cocoa powder and top with berries and icing sugar to serve.

    Notes
