This is designed to be sipped slowly. Select the sweetest and juiciest oranges you can find.
Orange crush
Ingredients
- 10ml brown sugar
- 4 dashes bitters
- 200ml freshly squeezed
- orange juice
- 50ml bourbon
- ice cubes, to serve
- 2 strips orange zest, for flavour and to garnish

Combine the sugar, bitters and orange juice, and allow a minute for the sugar to dissolve. Add the bourbon and stir.

Divide the mixture between 2 heavy-based tumblers, top up with ice, slip a strip of orange zest into each and serve.
