Sesame fried eggs on tahini-yoghurt
Let’s get cracking! The simple eggs and toast will never be the same after you’ve tried sesame fried eggs on tahini-yoghurt.
Sesame fried eggs on tahini-yoghurt
Ingredients
- WHIPPED TAHINI
- 1 cup double thick greek yoghurt
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup tahini
- 3 tbsp water
- SESAME FRIED EGGS
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup white sesame seeds
- ¼ cup black sesame seeds
- 2 naan bread, toasted
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 2 tbs micro basil
Instructions
For the whipped tahini
Combine all ingredients together in a blender and pulse for 1-2 times until fluffy and light in colour.
For the sesame fried eggs
Heat sesame oil in a pan over a low heat. Add the sesame seeds and then crack the eggs in on the sesame seeds, they will create a crust. Cook eggs sunny side up.
To serve
Serve tahini topped with sesame fried eggs alongside chunks of crispy naan bread.
