    Sunday roast chicken

    Ingredients

    • 1 free-range chicken
    • salt and white pepper, to taste
    • 2 cloves
    • 1 onion, peeled
    • 1 lemon
    • butter

    Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

    Season the inside of the chicken with salt and white pepper.

    Press the cloves into the onion and insert the onion and lemon into the cavity of the chicken.

    Rub butter all over the outside of the chicken, and season.

    Bake in the oven until cooked and crispy, turning every 20 minutes
