TikTok is a haven of all sorts of mouthwatering (and sometimes rather strange) food trends. One recipe that has gone viral is pizza lava toasts – a cheesy pizza-like creation that requires minimal ingredients but doesn’t skimp on taste.

Here’s how to make it:
Pizza lava toasts
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or variety of choice)
- Pizza sauce
- Italian seasoning
- Mozzarella cheese (4 slices + some to sprinkle on top)
- Pepperoni slices
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 190 C.
Place 4 pieces of cheese around the edges of 1 slice of bread.
Top with another slice of bread. Create a well in the center of the top slice of bread by pressing down with a spoon. Fill with pizza sauce.
Layer more slices or grated cheese on top of the bread and sauce.
Top with pepperoni and Italian seasoning.
Move to the oven for 15 minutes.
