• Momiji-oroshi (autumn maple leaf relish)

    Ingredients

    • 6cm piece daikon, peeled
    • 1 small red chilli, such as bird’s eye

    Poke a hole in the centre of the daikon and insert the whole chilli. Grate finely. Press through a cloth to get rid of the excess moisture and roll into 4 small balls.
