Gather friends and family and visit Cape Town’s best address, The Table Bay, to enjoy a relaxing holiday catch-up over a summer high tea or a hearty steak and chips.
Raise a glass of champagne to the year that was – or sip a cup of tea – while indulging in perfectly baked delights prepared by The Table Bay’s Pastry Chef Shana Faes
The Halaal-friendly high tea menu offers a selection of savoury dishes like camembert and green fig slices, coronation chicken sandwiches, smoked salmon blinis, vegetarian quiches, beef and horseradish sandwiches, and more, while surrounded by beautiful summer flower arrangements.
For those who enjoy the sweeter side of life, enjoy a wide range of treats that includes white chocolate and blueberry macarons, strawberry shortcakes, artisanal chocolates, and fruit tartlets. Freshly baked scones, such as white chocolate raspberry and buttermilk, served with homemade jams and a mix of sweet treats are the perfect finale. Add and enjoy a glass of Moët et Chandon, at R350 for Brut or R395 for Rosé, for a touch of decadence.
High tea, at R450 per person, is held from Wednesday to Sunday until February 14, 2025. Booking is essential on table[email protected].
For those wanting to sink their teeth into a heartier meal, sizzle and swirl with The Lounge’s 29-day matured rump steak cooked in a classic French herb butter, served with chips and a glass of wine.
With no booking required, guests can indulge in this gourmet experience daily while taking in views of Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront’s working harbour.
