• The knives are out, the flavours are bold, and the guests? Well, they’re serving more than just opinions…

Come Dine With Me South Africa is famous for a few things: bold personalities, (mostly) delicious dishes, and nonstop drama. Season 10 is no exception, serving up a feast of hilarious faux-pas, “Did they really just do that?!” moments, and four eager hosts vying for the coveted R10,000 prize at the end of the week.

Week two of Come Dine With Me South Africa Season 10 brings an eclectic mix of hosts, each determined to impress (or at least survive) the dinner table antics.

With Come Dine With South Africa Season 10 in full swing on BBC Lifestyle (DStv Channel 174), week two of the reality competition is sure to keep us all glued to our seats, waiting for those “I’m giving you a…” moments to drop.

This week, we get to see an eclectic mix of hosts, each determined to impress (or at least survive) the dinner table battle.

Meet the Hosts & Their Menus:

    Meet Linda

A social development worker who calls herself a “kitchen tourist.” She’s going proudly South African with a garlic prawn starter, steak and chips for mains, and pavlova for dessert. But with a vegetarian guest at the table, will she be able to keep everyone happy?

    Meet Vishen

An esoteric mental health professional who is taking his guests on a South Indian vegetarian journey. Expect bhajia and raita to start, tamarind curry with rice and roti for mains, and soji for dessert. But will his guests embrace the meat-free menu or revolt at the lack of protein?

    Meet Johan

A meticulous “Fur Dad” and seasoned dinner party planner, Johan is planning to set the bar high with a twice-baked goat’s cheese soufflé starter, roast beef with veggies for mains, and a South African chocolate-mint cheesecake to finish. Will his perfectionism pay off, or will tensions over pet ownership distract from the food?

    Meet Apples

A former beauty queen planning to host a pageant-themed dinner party. Her ambitious fusion menu includes scallops with iDombolo (dumplings) for starters, a “Supreme Chicken Breast” with Dauphinoise potatoes for mains, and a deconstructed milk tart for dessert. But will the lingering drama between her and Vishen steal the show?

From spicy surprises to clashing personalities, this week promises unforgettable (or questionable?) meals, unexpected feuds, and dinner table theatrics.

With R10,000 and the title of Best Host up for grabs, who will impress the most, and who will be left with a bitter aftertaste?
