“We promised Bigger and Better… It took us 6 months to get going again, but we didn’t want to compromise on a venue. It had to be the best to maintain our standards and quality for you,” the Food Truck Valley team shared in a recent announcement. And the wait was worth it!
What to expect at Food Truck Valley
Starting 7 March, Food Truck Valley will officially reopen at the Bellville Velodrome, operating every weekend and during school holidays. Expect an exciting lineup of gourmet food trucks. Whether you’re craving juicy burgers, loaded fries or sweet treats, there’s something for everyone.

Previously, Food Truck Valley had carved out a semi-permanent home in Goodwood’s N1 City, offering a haven for food lovers looking to enjoy top-tier street food in one convenient spot. Known for its fully halaal food selection, the market became a go-to weekend destination, featuring both resident food trucks and special weekend guests that kept the menu exciting and diverse.
One of the biggest perks of the new venue? No more parking struggles! “You will never have parking issues again,” the team reassured, making it easier than ever to pull up, grab a bite and soak in the lively atmosphere.
“Sorry for taking so long, we missed you just as much as you missed us,” they added — and judging by the excitement, Cape Town’s food scene is just as thrilled for the comeback!
