Wine Concepts’ “Finer Things in Life” International Sparkling Wine & Champagne Affair celebrates this year’s event with the theme of “The Magic of Bubbles” on Friday 23rd November 2018.
Join hosts Wine Concepts in celebrating their seventeenth year of staging this prestigious event at the Vineyard Hotel in Newlands, in the magnificent Summer Room from 18:00 to 21:00.
Numerous cuvées will be on offer for tasting. From premium and boutique Champagne houses of France, and, due to the success of the additions last year, there will also be a selection of sparkling wines from other international producers including Spain, Italy, and the UK to tantalise your taste buds.
Look out for Veuve Clicquot, Tribaut, Lanson, Mumm, Billecart Salmon, Da Luca, Sartori and many more.
Attendees are encouraged to promote the theme by dressing up to represent the MAGIC of Bubbles, and in so doing stand a chance to win a wonderful prize for the Best Dressed Couple on the evening.
Light snacks will be served on the evening, accompanied by live music and entertainment! Fresh oysters and artisanal chocolates will be on sale for those who want to indulge.
The Champagnes and sparkling wines on showcase will be offered at a special discounted price and purchasers will be eligible to win a grand prize of a 2-night stay for two at an exclusive lodge. There will be additional prizes for lucky draw ticket holders on the evening!
The Vineyard Hotel is offering a special stay over the package for this night only. Courtyard-facing room rates are R1 950 for a single and R2 525 for a double includes a 2-course dinner in The Square Restaurant on 23rd November as well as a full English breakfast on 24th November.
