• If you’re a fan of simple, wholesome foods that provide both comfort and a homey vibe, then Toast Trailer should be on your list of must-visit spots. Toast Trailer offers customers a mouth-watering grilled cheese experience, with sandwiches topped with a generous layer of cheese and purple onions. This simple yet innovative creation is designed to evoke memories of the toasted cheese sandwiches your mom or grandma would make after a long day at school or work.

Toast Trailer was founded six years ago by Mo, who sought a new adventure beyond the hustle and bustle of corporate life. He wanted a path that allowed him to manage his own time while still doing something that sparked passion and responsibility.

Although Toast Trailer wasn’t initially intended to be a long-term venture, its success inspired Mo to continue serving his extraordinary sandwiches. He recalls the early challenges of breaking into event spaces, particularly when offering a meal that wasn’t a burger. However, Mo’s belief in his product and confidence in its quality drove him to push forward. Once people tasted the magic of his cheese toasties, event organisers soon began reaching out to book Toast Trailer.

Starting the business taught Mo valuable lessons about balancing time management with responsibility. He reflects, “Your work and dedication determine your performance. If you don’t put in the work, there will be no income at the end of the month.”

The Toast Trailer menu is simple, with one core sandwich that can be customised by adding frikkadel or nachos. One bite of this incredible sandwich reveals the beauty of simplicity. If you’re looking for a heartier option, try it with the frikkadel, a recipe inspired by Mo’s mom with his own twist.

Working solo, Mo takes pride in crafting the perfect sandwich – one that embodies wholesomeness and quality. He avoids preservatives and unhealthy ingredients, using real butter and free-range products. While the menu may be small, each option is delicious enough to become a favourite.

Looking ahead, Mo is focused on maintaining consistency, ensuring every customer, whether new or regular, is served the perfect sandwich. His ultimate goal is to one day look back with pride at his accomplishments. He is deeply grateful for the support of his customers, which has brought him immense peace and happiness.
