• A new culinary gem is about to grace the Durbanville Wine Valley. Wilde Vy Bistro, located on the historic Hooggelegen Farm, home of Signal Gun Wines, will officially open its doors this Thursday, 23 January.

    MEET YOUR HOSTS

The brains behind Wilde Vy Bistro include South African chef Jürgen Snyman and Ghanaian entrepreneurs Kwasi Osei-Kusi and Charles Bucknor, hailing from Accra. This dynamic trio first connected in Cape Town while Snyman served as Executive Chef at Kloof Street House, Asoka, and Egghead restaurants. Their shared commitment to hospitality excellence sparked a partnership that flourished into Wilde Vy Bistro.

Osei-Kusi and Bucknor, well-known for their people-first approach, annually sponsor their team’s training in Cape Town with guidance from industry heavyweights Liam Tomlin and Ivor Jones. When an opportunity arose in mid-2024 for Snyman to lead an exciting venture on Hooggelegen Farm, the seeds of Wilde Vy Bistro were planted.
