Have you been participating in Dry January this month?
As more and more people shift their focus to health and moderation, the desire for low-ABV and non-alcoholic drinks grows.
People are decreasing the amount of alcohol they consume – or even stopping all together. In fact, Health Canada recently stated that people should be limiting their alcohol intake to just two drinks a week. Psychology Professor Taryn Grieder from the University of Toronto says that “[a]lcohol is a psychoactive drug” and that daily use can lead to a number of health risks in the future from cirrhosis of the liver to breast cancer.
But fear not as we have loads of refreshing non-alcoholic beverage recipes to stay dry this January – and perhaps beyond.
