South Africans continue to have their talents internationally recognised! Chef and businesswoman Siba Mtongana received another international award recognising her culinary skills.
The mother of four shared that her Cape Town-based, restaurant, SIBA – The Restaurant, won Best Cultural Fine Dining Experience for 2023 from the African Excellence Awards in the United Kingdom. According to the dining establishment, which is located inside The Table Bay Hotel, SIBA – The Restaurant serves “unique dishes that encompass world flavours with local flair in a true Sibalicious style.”
Taking to Instagram, The Great South African Bake Off judge shared, “We won an award at the African Excellence Awards for the Middle East and Africa region for BEST CULTURAL FINE DINING EXPERIENCE – CAPE TOWN. A big congratulations and thank you to my amazing team at the restaurant and The Siba Co Group for their incredible contribution to this vision. WE DID IT AGAIN! What a way to start the year. We are truly honoured and delighted by this recognition!”
