Fatima Sydow, Cape Malay cookbook author, cooking show host and cancer-fighter, shared a victory dance on Instagram after her doctor confirmed that her tumour is shrinking.
Since her diagnosis in December 2020, Sydow’s journey has been that of remission and relapse. As per IOL, the cancer, a soft-tissue sarcoma, returned last year and filled her lungs.

Even though Sydow has had a tumultuous journey with chemotherapy, she recently celebrated her latest book launch. My story, my heritage reached best-seller status after just one week on the shelves.
