Tucked away in the rugged beauty of Scherpenheuwel, Lapithos Olive Farm stands as a testament to family, tradition and the land itself. What began as a handful of saplings planted in honour of two grandfathers has grown into a thriving orchard of 10 000 trees.
Here, nature is given the freedom to flourish. The farm remains unfenced, allowing wildlife to roam undisturbed. Every tree was planted by family and friends, turning Lapithos into a landscape of shared memories. The farm’s dedication to sustainability and craftsmanship has earned it prestigious accolades, including the Absa Top 10 Olive Oil Award, proving that small-scale, hands-on farming can achieve world-class results.

At its heart is a close-knit team. David arrived at the farm 22 years ago during a difficult time in his life and has been its anchor ever since. Elvis, a team member for over 16 years, ensures that every bottle of Lapithos olive oil meets the highest standards.
A fire caused by a burglary was a devastating setback but only strengthened the family’s resolve. Their focus remains on nurturing the land, refining their craft and honouring the human connections that make Lapithos unique.
Lapithos is built on resilience, passion and the beauty of tradition. That story lives on in every golden drop.
