Checkers is the first South African supermarket to launch standalone Krispy Kreme doughnut kiosks in its stores. This follows the runaway success following the introduction of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in selected Checkers stores last year. To give customers more of what they want, Checkers is partnering with the brand to launch a more permanent offering. The first kiosk opened on the 21st arch at Checkers Drakenstein Sentrum, with the second to launch in Checkers Kenilworth Shopping Centre on 4 April 2022.
