    Joao, which is Portuguese for John. Although it happens to be one of the most common names in Portugal, no one could pronounce it in South Africa; so I settled for J’Something.

    When I take my wife, Coco, to Banchan in Parkmore for some Korean barbecue or fried chicken.

    A COUNTRY I’D LIKE MY BAND, MI CASA, TO PERFORM IN IS…

    Brazil – I think our music would be well received there.

    THE MOST POPULAR DISH SERVED AT MY RESTAURANT?

    It’s a close race between the chicken and the slow-cooked short rib dish called Cheeky Beef.
