Banana choc chip loaf
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups Cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Combine Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Add Bananas and Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mashed bananas and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Allow the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
