Butterscotch sauce with marshmallows
Ingredients
- 100ml golden syrup
- 40g butter
- 80g treacle sugar
- 100ml fresh cream + 30ml (2 tbsp) extra, if needed
- marshmallows, to serve
Instructions

Place the syrup, butter and sugar in a small pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Remove from heat and add the cream. Return to medium heat and simmer, 2 – 3 minutes. Add extra cream, if needed.

Pour into a container and refrigerate until thickened.

Serve drizzled over marshmallows or your favourite pudding.
