• We’re craving all things sweet and magical with these cardamom and orange melting moments. They make an ideal dessert to share with friends and family as you celebrate the end of Ramadan.

    Cardamon & orange melting moment

    Ingredients

    • 200 grams unsalted butter
    • 3 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp vanilla essence
    • ¾ cup icing sugar
    • 2 cups cake flour
    • ¼ cup corn flour
    • ½ tsp salt
    • Zest of half an orange
    • ½-1 tsp ground cardamom
    • To serve
    • Melted dark or milk chocolate
    • Pistachios, shelled and chopped

    CREAM the butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Add oil, vanilla essence and icing sugar and mix until

    SIFT in the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined.

    SPOON into a piping bag with a large nozzle attached, you can use any pattern. Pipe whatever shapes you like,onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes before baking.

    PREHEAT the oven on 180°C . Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes or until you see the edges turn a light golden brown .

    REMOVE from the oven and cool. Dip in melted chocolate and garnish with chopped pistachios.
