If we’re honest, all we truly want in life is bread and cheese, and these Cheesy Garlic pull-apart rolls are the stuff of dreams!
It’s the ultimate tear-and-share appetiser that is perfect for any party, or when you’re just craving a bit of scrumptious garlic bread.
Make these cheesy garlic pull-apart rolls:
Ingredients
- 1 Small garlic bulb
- 500 g pizza or pizza dough
- 250g cream cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- ½ cup grated mozzarella
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- To serving
- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese plus extra
- 2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1 cup Marinara sauce, warmed (optional)
Instructions
PREHEAT oven to 220°C. Wrap garlic on foil and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown and roasted.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
FLOUR a surface and divide pizza dough into four pieces. Stretch and roll each piece of dough into a log shape and cut dough into 9-12
MIX cream cheese, mozzarella and chives together in a bowl and season well.
ROLL out each ball of dough and fill with about 1-2 tsp of the cream cheese mixture . Close the dough around the filling into a tightly rolled ball and transfer to the baking tray. Place balls seam-side down on the baking tray
WHIP egg in a bowl and egg wash the dough balls. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
WHISK melted butter and brush onto rolls. Sprinkle it with parmesan cheese and top with chopped parsley.
SERVE warm with marinara for dipping.
