Marie Biscuit brownies
Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 500 g icing sugar
- 250 ml cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 packets Marie Biscuits, crushed
Instructions
In a large pot, melt the butter until fully melted.
Remove from heat and add icing sugar and sifted cocoa powder. Mix thoroughly until well combined and no dry bits remain.
Beat the eggs and stir them into the chocolate mixture along with the vanilla essence, ensuring a smooth consistency.
Add the crushed Marie Biscuits to the chocolate mixture, stirring until they are evenly coated.
Spoon the mixture into a greased 24 x 24 cm pan and smooth it out with a spatula.
Allow the brownie mixture to cool and firm up; placing it in the fridge might speed up the process.
Once cooled, cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
