20 min beef stroganoff
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 600 grams sliced beef
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 200 grams button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 400ml beef stock
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup sour cream
- To serve
- Serve with cooked rice
- Freshly chopped parsley

HEAT some of the oil in a frying pan, until smoking. Add the sliced beef in bataches and cook until brown for about 1 minute .Remove the beef.

ADD butter to the pan. Once melted, add the onions and cook until soft. Add the mushrooms and cook until soft.

STIR in flour and mix well until all the flour is stirred in. Add the beef stock and mix. Cook for 5 minutes.

STIR in dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce and sour cream.

SERVE with cooked rice and top with chopped parsley.
