These sticky honeyed nuts are great for serving with a selection of fruit and cheese or as an indulgent topping for plain sponge cakes or puddings.
Honeyed nuts and fruit
Ingredients
- 150g cashew nuts
- 100g walnuts
- 100g Brazil nuts
- 500g honey
- 100g dried cranberries
- 2,5ml (½ tsp) ground ginger
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- 2 strips of orange pee
Instructions

Place all of the ingredients in a large saucepan and slowly heat through over low heat.

When the honey is runny, remove from heat and spoon into sterilised jars.

Store at room temperature out of direct sunlight.
