The origin of Nomhle Cooks

She carefully and beautifully curated a range of mouth-watering beginner-friendly dishes that her followers could use as a stepping stone to begin their own cooking adventures. As her account grew, she welcomed feedback from her followers who helped her to further expand and elevate her approach to cooking.
Nomhle’s key factors when making a dish:
“One key factor is simplicity. I also find that simple dishes resonate with my audience more. My audience consists mostly of individuals who are still learning how to cook and are finding their feet. Taste is non-negotiable. The food has to taste as good as it looks,” shares Nomhle
Nomhle’s Delicious Oxtail Liver recipe:
This delectable recipe is one that Nomhle holds dear to her heart. Experimenting while filming with a different approach to her original recipe, Nomhle found her added twist brought an additional charm. She has since taken to preparing this scrumptious recipe the same way each time.
In a bowl, pour milk and add your ox livers. Ensure they are fully submerged and soak for approximately 1 hour. Once an hour has lapsed, fry your livers over medium heat until there’s no excess milk left. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the livers are browned. Remove the ox livers from your pot and set aside. In the same pot, add your onion, bell peppers, curry and crushed garlic and herb. Sauté for 5 minutes then add your ox livers back in the pot. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Add your grated tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, chilli beef cube, dried basil, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Mix well together and allow your livers to cook on low heat for a further 10-15 minutes. Serve with steamed bread and enjoy!Nomhle Cooks Oxtail Liver Recipe
