• If you aren’t already adding liquor to your breakfast oats, it’s time to start doing so! Scottish oats with fresh cream and whisky is a Walkersons favourite and brings some variation and decadence to conventional oats. It keeps you warm and energised all day long.

    Scottish oats with fresh cream and whisky

    Serves: 4
    Cooking Time: 10

    Ingredients

    • 100g oats
    • 5ml salt
    • 750ml boiling water
    • 120ml fresh cream
    • 60ml whisky
    • brown sugar, to taste

    Instructions

    Place the oats and salt in a pot. Add the boiling water and cook over high heat, stirring until it boils. Lower the heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

    Pour into individual bowls. Top with the cream and whisky, and sprinkle with brown sugar.
