Seared steak with rosemary & thyme butter sauce

SERVES 3-4
INGREDIENTS
125g Parmalat Butter with Rosemary & Thyme
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small onion, very finely diced
¼ lemon, juice and finely grated zest
1 Tbsp (15ml) grainy mustard
1ml cayenne pepper
3ml paprika
3 Tbsp (45ml) fresh parsley, chopped
⅓ cup (80ml) sour cream
Salt
Milled black pepper
3-4 pieces steak cut and cooked according to your liking.
METHOD
- Melt the Parmalat Butter with Rosemary & Thyme in a pan.
- Fry the onion and garlic, over a low heat, for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and whisk in the lemon juice and zest, garlic, mustard, cayenne pepper, paprika and parsley.
- Add the sour cream and whisk together until light and creamy, alternating transfer the mixture to a blender and blend for 1 minute.
- Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
- Pour over cooked steak.
