Soetbrood (Sweet bread)
Ingredients
- 700 grams store bought bread dough
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup long life cream

PREHEAT the oven to 180ºC

DIVIDE the dough into 12 golf sized balls

LIGHTLY a baking dish and arrange the bread dough in the baking dish. Allow to prove for 30 minutes .

COMBINE the sugar and cream together and pour over the bread dough.

COVER and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for a further 10-15 minutes until golden brown, spooning some of the caramel sauce on top
